In Viking mithology the wolves, Skoll and Hati going to hunting of the Sun and the Moon. When this wolves catch one of the two, there's an eclipse. In this case, the inhabitants of the Earth are rushing to rescue the Sun or the Moon, making as much noise as they can, hoping that the wolves run away scared. But over time, people realized that the Sun and the Moon re-emerged after an eclipse, whether they running, screaming and making noise or not. Gradually, they realized that eclipses were not produced randomly or due to capricious Gods. They are produced following a regular pattern to be repeated. Likewise, from time to time we recieve one of your beautiful pictures, as if it were an eclipse, we can only marvel and enjoy with your vision. But we know that this is not due to any God or any force of nature. We know that these wonders, are fruit by a beautiful girl on the other side of earth and although she is not an Olympus God, for us is an amazing Goddess!!!
